Way to go Gabby! 100% Multiplication and Division on Reflex Math! Great job!

We had a few more guest readers today to keep our Elementary Reading Challenge going strong! Mr. Cory Speaker, aka the Mountain Man, and D.J. Walter both stopped by today and read to multiple classes. They spent time in both the 3rd grade and Pre-K hallways, while finishing up with a few of the Kindergarten classes as well.
Thank you both for all that you do for the community and always being #FORTheBrownAndWhite

Mrs. Armstrong's class received a neat surprise, straight from the North Pole! It came with a letter and a treat, while also still being cold from its icy trip!

Upcoming dress up days for next week and the week after! 🎄

Mrs. Ellis's room is beginning to look a lot like Christmas! We're ready for warm coats--these friends can zip their own coat! We're #for the brown and white and #for Christmas!

Buddy the Elf decided to stop by and read his story to our 1st graders. He then decided to spread some holiday cheer to some of our Kindergarten and 2nd grade students too!
Thank you Corbin Dyson for bringing the character to life so well as part of our ECE Reading Challenge

FOR awards were recognized today! Once again, teachers and students will be recognized periodically for their contributions and constant mindset of being FOR the Brown and White. Today's praise came via lunch for our awesome Specials (Music & P.E.) teachers (Coach Brooks, Mrs. Pierce, Mrs. Jung, and Coach Peffer). In addition to what they bring to the table each and every day, they also go above and beyond to help in other ways. They help with schedules, drive busses, and are tirelessly striving to do what's best FOR our littles. Thank you for making a difference and making that difference every day!

"A principal who reads is a leader who inspires!” The second mystery reader for Ms. Simon’s 2nd grade class was one of our very own, Mr. Fisher. He read a story and brought the book to life. It’s alway extra special when it’s someone they see daily and look up to.

Pre-K is Thankful for lots of things! What are you thankful for? #live #learn #grow at Elk City Elementary.
