Third grade had a fun day yesterday celebrating ALL the kiddos who reached their 1st quarter Book Taco goal!!! They started with floats on the playground and ended the day with the Arrowhead Center.

Carter, a student in Mrs. Garrison’s first grade class, brought the book The Green Pumpkin for his teacher to read aloud to the class. This book is extra special because it was illustrated by Carter’s great uncle!

Ms. C. Reyes’ class has been busy practicing their subtraction facts in the most hands-on way — using games like Roll-a-Dice and Squish Subtraction! From rolling numbers to squishing playdough equations, our mathematicians are making subtraction super fun! 💛➖🎉

Thank you to our wonderful OPAA cafeteria staff for preparing such a delicious dinner for P/T Conference night! The nacho bar kept us full for the entire evening!
