Ms. Hansen's class has been learning about the life cycle of ladybugs! 🐞 They have watched their habitat for weeks, noticing changes from larva, pupa, chrysalis, to adult ladybugs.

Ms. Reyes' 3rd grade class enjoyed participating in the "Bottle People Project." They learned about Famous Oklahomans who left their mark in the world! Each student chose their favorite person we reviewed, then created a "Bottle Person" over that chosen person. They then presented the "Person" to the class with a research of facts gathered during review and at home! This was such a fun project to explore their creativity and learn about those that have carved paths!
Some people Ms. Reyes' class chose to create their project over are: Maria Tallchief, Will Rogers, Carrie Underwood, Mickey Mantle and several others. These students did an awesome job presenting in front of their class! Each one was brave, confident, and informed!
Mrs. Horton's class celebrated the completion of their first state testing ever AND filling their reward jar in the same week with a Disney Day! 🤩✨ This looks like the happiest class on earth 😉 #LeadLearnGrow
We’re excited to share that Elk City Elementary received a $2700 Spark Good local grant from our local Wal-Mart. This grant funded our Barnes&Noble trip where students received $15 to spend on books. We are proud to spark good in our community! #SparkGood
These incredible third-grade students earned a well-deserved trip to Barnes & Noble and Chuck E. Cheese after reaching all four of their Book Taco reading goals this year! Way to go, reading rockstars!
