Mrs. Carpenter wears many hats at ECE. Today, she is our STEAM teacher for Mrs. Horton's third grade class (and many classes throughout the day). Students rotate through STEAM activities every other week. We are thankful Mrs. Carpenter offers a creative, inviting space in the library for all of our students! Great to be in "The Brown & White"!

Yesterday we celebrated Kynsie Monroe and Evie Dedmon as our October Kiwanis Students of the Month from Mrs. Sander's third grade class. These students exemplify the meaning of a classroom leader and serve as a positive role model for their peers. Way to go, Kynsie and Evie! It's What We Do #Lead #Learn #Grow

Today we celebrated our Character Trait of the Month award winners during Rise & Shine. Our character trait focus for the month of September was bravery. In an effort to show off our winners, we have added a gallery wall in our front hallway to display their awards. We want our students to know how proud we are of them! Make sure and check out our award wall as you pass through for Parent Teacher Conferences tomorrow evening. Mr. Mayfield did a wonderful job ensuring our gallery wall was nothing less than perfect for our students. Job well-done, Mr. Mayfield! 👏🏼 👏🏼 Great to be in "The Brown & White"

Shout out to Ellie Allen this morning. She stopped in the hall to salute the flags properly even with friends running down the hall. She stood there for the moment of silence and than peacefully went to class. It's what we do. #lead #learn #grow
