Ms. Reyes' 3rd grade class is participating in
"Hearts Across America"
They have received many letters from several different states thus far! They are learning so many nifty facts about the different states, have read heartfelt notes, postcards from other 3rd grade classes & even received some special "jingle shells" from Florida - enough for each student to take one home!! They are so thankful to those sharing the information & sending them mail!💌🐚
Cheyenne Stepp has mastered all of her addition and subtraction facts! Seryniti Rheault has mastered all of her multiplication and division. Way to go girls! Mrs. M. Garrison is proud of you!
March 13th is an Early Release Day for ECPS.
Elk City Elementary will dismiss at the following times:
PreK - 1:05pm,
Kinder&1st - 1:15pm,
2nd&3rd - 1:10pm.
Please reach out to your child's teacher if you have not made arrangements for Parent Teacher Conferences. We look forward to visiting with you this Thursday!
Sip, sip, hooray! Mrs. Horton's class celebrated filling their reward jar with a Starbucks day 💚🤩 To do this they had to beat the teacher, be first to come in from recess, or get a compliment from another teacher. She is so proud!!

Mrs. Garrison's 2nd grade class took advantage of the warm weather today. They did a Dinosaur locating informational facts activity in the courtyard.

Ms. Busby's 3rd grade class building 3D shapes with Marshmallows and play dough. They were learning about faces, edges, and vertices.
Today we celebrated our Character Trait of the Month award winners during Rise and Shine. Our character trait focus for the month of February was COURAGEOUS. Students receive a certificate and a free drink from White Buffalo. Our students ❤️this! It's what we do. #lead #learn #grow
This morning, the Elk City Schools Bus Barn recognized students for their outstanding behavior on the bus! This is a well-deserved honor, as maintaining great behavior helps ensure a safe ride for everyone. We are incredibly proud of these students for setting a positive example. It’s always a great day to be in the "Brown and White"!
