We had a great Antler Alert today. Karen Blanton, from Lions Club visited today to present Cub of the Month awards for September to Averie Brown and Oliver Wilson and for October, Greyson Oppel and Autynm Steece.
Our attendance winners were: 4th grade Mrs. Bruner, 5th grade Mrs. Hopper, and 6th grade Mrs. Pollard.
Mrs. Pollard was also our Teacher of the Week. She works hard to plan meaningful and relevant ELA lessons that will ensure student success. She is a valued member of our team and we are so glad she is FOR the BROWN and WHITE!

Thank you so much to The Way Church for being FOR the BROWN and WHITE. They donated bags of snacks and foods for our food pantry at ECIS.

We appreciate our ECIS custodians and all they do to keep our facilities clean and safe for our staff and students.

These students picked up trash on the playground yesterday! They are:
Alexia Escobedo, Hunter Price, and Leland Mattox from Bruner’s class and Ignacio Hernandez from Ball’s class. 😊 Thank you for being for the BROWN and WHITE!

PERKS with PRINCIPALS
Each month our students are working to reach a behavior goal set by teachers. The winners every month will be recognized at Antler Alert and receive a perk from the principals. For the month of September the perk was an extra recess and popsicles. Our winners were Mr. Earls's class for having the least amount of tardies and Mrs. Ball's class for being the best at not putting their hands and feet on others.

We had an AMAZING Antler Alert on Friday! 5th and 6th grade students who have been working hard in math made the Green Club. Our students who have been respectful on the bus were presented with awards.
Attendance Award Winners were:
4th grade: Mrs. Ball
5th grade: Mr. Hickey
6th grade: Mrs. Cupp
Our Teacher of the Week was Mrs. Sheppard. We appreciate her work ethic and creativity. She is a team player and kind to everyone. She is always striving to be the best teacher she can be for her students and we are so glad that she comes to work for the BROWN and WHITE everyday!

It is always a great day to be an ELK! We love the BROWN and WHITE!

Thank you to Ronda Smith with InterLinc Mortgage for bringing our entire staff Sonic drinks. It was such a nice treat!

Supper for teachers during Parent-Teacher Conferences was a nacho bar, prepared by our school cafeteria staff! Allison, our kitchen manager, not only had all of this made but also decorated, set everything up, stayed to ensure everything was stocked throughout the evening, and cleaned up at the end. HUGE thank you to all that helped, it was delicious! FOR The Brown and White!

Next week is homecoming!! Encourage your students to participate in dressing up. Let's make it a great week FOR the brown and white!!

We had a fantastic Antler Alert at ECIS this morning! We handed out awards for RESPONSIBILITY, our word of the month. Our classes with the best attendance won the Mountain Man's ax. They were Mrs. Bass, Mrs. Hopper, and Mrs. Cupp. Our teacher of the week was Mrs. Bruner. She is a rock star teacher who is always trying to improve her craft. Her attitude and excitement for teaching and learning is contagious. Her classroom is an interactive environment with fun and unique activities. Thank you Mrs. Bruner for your dedication to ECIS!
