Antler Alert: We did not have attendance awards this week because of the short week. We will add these past three days to next week. Our teacher of the week is Miss Haines. She teaches 4th grade math. This is her very first year of teaching. She has a great attitude and wants to learn new strategies and ways to improve. Since it is the end of the month we did Perks with Principals. 4th grade goal was for students to be prepared, 5th grade goal was for students to be respectful to teachers, and 6th grade goal was no missing assignments. Three students who reached the goal were selected from each homeroom and enjoyed pretzels with the principals. Students who earned it but are not pictured: Jayde Azzam, Vaeda Heimer,, Berkeley Newman, Sophie Brewer, Mia Jones, Mia Soto, Porter Nevels, Paxton Britain, Emma Marks, Jack Carnahan, Aaron Leverett, Brylee Ball, and Owen McCoy. We also rewarded students who demonstrated our word of the month-self control. Two students were selected from each homeroom and received a certificate.

Elk City Schools will be closed tomorrow Monday, January 26.
