Student Council sponsored a canned food drive this last week at ECIS. Between all three grades we collected a total of 383 cans!
4th grade winners for bringing the most were: Phoenix Dixon, Emory Merz, and Rowan Morrison
5th grade winners for bringing the most were: Owen Lenius, Kamri Bortell, and Kathryn Givens
6th grade winners for bringing the most were: Vaneza Reyes, Aubree Williams, and Lennox Maddox
5th grade was the overall grade winner as they collected 180 of the 383 total!
What You Do Matters!

Congratulations to Intermediate School Cafeteria Manager, Allison Kauk, for placing 2nd in the bulletin board contest during National School Lunch Week! Allison works incredibly hard to make our cafeteria a welcoming and fun place for all of our students each day. We are so proud of her and all she does for our kids!

Endurance Federal Credit Union had sponsored a pumpkin art drawing competition a few weeks back. The 2nd Place winner ended up being 6th Grader Elizabeth Snyder!

6th Grade: Mrs. Cloud's class
The One Church Teacher of the Week was Mrs. Sanders. She has made our campus better the minute she stepped foot on it. She is consistently leading engaging lessons. She allows data to shape her instruction and makes sure all students are growing. She is a wealth of knowledge that we are fortunate to have with us at ECIS! Congrats once again to Mrs. Sanders!

The One Church Teacher of the Week was Mrs. Ball. We are so fortunate that Mrs. Ball joined our team last year. She does so many different things and keeps her classroom lively as a result! There is never a time to be bored because there is always something fun going on! She makes writing enjoyable to the students and incorporates a vast number of redirects to ensure that the students stay on task. The students adore her, evident by the fact that they all hopped in to take the picture with her. Congrats once again to Mrs. Ball!

First we celebrated 5th Grade IXL winners for ELA:

We recognized members of the 4th grade youth football team as well as the 5th/6th grade team. They both have had outstanding seasons thus far!

The One Church Staff of the Week was our custodians! October 2nd was National Custodians Day and we were so glad that we could recognize them. Mrs. Dolores, Mrs. Daniella and Mrs. Gloria are the absolute best! They work so hard for ALL of our students and teachers. They take care of us and make sure our campus is always so well maintained. Thank you once again and congratulations!

HUGE Thank You to Endurance Federal Credit Union for catering a Rib Crib baked potato bar for all of our teachers on parent teacher conference night. It was delicious and VERY appreciated!

The One Church Teacher of the Week was Mrs. Page! Mrs. Page is a foundational piece of what we have here at ECIS. She provides a multitude of services at our campus and always remains flexible! The students benefit greatly from all the different ways in which she teaches them on a daily basis. She also ensures that all of our students show grow! Congratulations once again to Mrs. Page!

The One Church Teacher of the Week is Ms. Soto! Ms. Soto has moved up a grade but her consistency remains the same! She leads a classroom that is constantly engaged and on task. High expectations are a given in her class and she makes sure those expectations are upheld by each and every student. She is also one that never wavers in her pursuit of excellence! Congratulations Ms. Soto!

The One Church Teacher of the Week is Mrs. Ragan! Mrs. Ragan makes sure her music classes are always engaging and fun! The projects that she comes up with are always a hit with the students! She also does an incredible job with our ECIS Honor Choir, evident by their selection to perform as an Honor Group at the 2025 OkMEA Winter Conference in Tulsa. Congratulations Mrs. Ragan!
