Our English department kicked off Fireside Fridays today with 9th grade students! Each Friday our AP Lang/Comp teacher and library media specialist, Mrs. Manning, will welcome 1 grade level of ECHS students to the library during their English classes for a fireside book study and analysis lesson. This semester’s selections are: Freshmen-A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens Sophomores-Murder on the Orient Express by Agatha Christie Juniors-Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom Today, Mrs. Manning and Ms. Curtis swapped students. While freshmen were in the library with Mrs. Manning, Ms. Curtis taught The Crucible to the AP Lang/Comp students! It’s what we do! #Lead #Learn #Grow

ECHS STUDENTS, Ever wanted to travel to "The Big Apple" New York City? Here is your chance. We are taking a group of Elk City High School students on a tour of New York City in June of 2024 and we would love to have you join us. We will be having an informational meeting on Thursday, Sept 14th in the Choir Room at 6:30 pm To find out more information, simply have your parents register by scanning the QR CODE below and then attend the meeting on the 14th.
