Attention all current sophomores and juniors:
Any student who wishes to take concurrent classes for the 25-26 school year as a junior or senior must attend a mandatory meeting concerning enrollment and our new concurrent policies. Students must have a parent or guardian with them at the meeting. You may choose to attend either one of the following meetings.
Monday, March 31 from 6-7 pm OR Wednesday, April 2 from 6-7 pm
Both meetings will be held in the ECHS Commons.
If you are unable to attend either meeting, please contact Mrs. Phillips to let her know.
The memorial service honoring Lewis Birmingham will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, March 31 in the Elk City High School auditorium. Elk City High School students are welcome to attend, but will need to have a permission slip signed by a guardian first. Permission forms are now available at the ECHS front office and need to be returned by the end of the school day this Friday.
If you are not an ECHS staff member or student, please park in the south Pioneer Center parking lot for the service.
We would also like to remind community members wishing to help the family with expenses that donations may be made at First National Bank. Please ask to donate to the Lewis Birmingham Memorial Fund.
Again, we appreciate the outpouring of support that has been shown to Lewis’ family, school community and friends during this time.
Please see the attached statement.

Today at 1:40 our EMR class will be conducting a landing zone class with Air Evac and ECFD. This will take place in our south Pioneer Center parking lot. This is only a teaching drill and not an actual emergency.

Our new Emergency Medical Responder class had a special treat today when ECFD paramedic and EMR instructor Demerie Chervenka surprised them with a freshly harvested bovine heart and respiratory system to dissect. City medical director and longtime Elk City physician, Dr. Dennis Friesen, was also on hand to instruct students.
Students in this program aspire to start a career in the medical field, and ECHS is grateful for the partnership with ECFD that enables us to offer such a dynamic, hands on learning experience. It's what we do! #Lead #Learn #Grow

It's great to be in "the Brown and White!"

In keeping with brown and white tradition, many ECHS student leaders started their holiday break by helping fill and deliver Christmas baskets for Elk City families bright and early this morning. The students represented StuCo, National Honor Society and FFA. Our thanks to StuCo sponsor Mrs. Snider for providing photos.
