Congratulations to our Elk City High School boys Cross Country team. Team placed 7th today at Regionals and qualified as a team for next weeks State Meet in Edmond. Plus, an extra shout out to Jack Morgan for placing 4th overall. Good job men, and good work Coach Taylor and Coach Keyes.

ECPS will be issuing a test of our Alert System. The correct data is now being pulled into the system. The Alert System test is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. today. The Alert System will be used in the event that ECPS is closed due to weather or any type of emergency.
Elk City Public School is going to cancel the testing of our Alert System scheduled for 1:00 p.m. today. The Alert System is currently only reading the Home Phone Number field from PowerSchool. We are working with our developers to also include the Cell Phone Number fields for all guardians. This integration is taking place immediately. Once the correct data is being sent to the Alert System, ECPS will conduct the Alert Notification Test. Thank you for your understanding as we work to ensure that ALL of our families are connected to the Alert System.
Tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. Elk City Public School will conduct a test of our new Alert Messaging. In the event that ECPS is closed due to weather or any type of emergency, notifications will be sent by text, email or phone call. The alert will come directly to your phone.

The Elk City Elkette softball team will be traveling to North Rock Creek (Shawnee) tomorrow, Tuesday Oct. 3rd for a Super Regional. Games will be at 3:00 pm & 5:00 pm, with the if game being played on Wednesday at 2:00 pm. Please send well wishes to our softball girls as they play for a trip to the State Tournament. This Thursday and Friday we will be hosting a 4-A Regional softball tournament. All Elk City 7-12th grade students will be FREE, compliments of a local business (anonymous). Attached is a 4-A bracket, and ticket info for all other patrons. All tickets will have to be purchased online at OSSAA.COM Gofan. Please come out and support our Elkette softball team.
Elk City Softball is hosting the Class 4A Regional on Thursday and Friday. Parents of ECES students may experience some additional traffic when picking up your child during the Early Release / Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday.
Todays ECHS district softball games at St Mary's have been postponed until tomorrow. Game time tomorrow Wednesday, Sept. 20th will be at 2:30 pm.
