nearing completion. Reserve seating is available for renewal until August 29, 2023. Reserved seating will go on sale to the public August 30, 2023. Reserve your seats now for Big Elk Football.

The football game at Altus on Friday, August 25, will not kickoff until 8:00 p.m. The game time has been changed for Elk City @ Altus due to forecasted temperatures.

Elk City Child Nutrition is once again excited to serve your children!
Just a reminder that meals are no longer free for everyone. We need you to fill out a Free/Reduced Meal Application. You can apply here: https://www.myschoolapps.com/Application. This application does much more than provide free or reduced meals for our students. It also determines the amount of funding our district receives from various agencies at the state and federal level.

MS & HS LUNCH: $2.50
ALL BREAKFAST: $1.75
Meals can be paid for by sending money with your student or at www.myschoolbucks.com - you will need your child's student ID number.
The first round of guardian invites have been sent out and the Rooms feature is now live on the Elk City Schools App. Invites will be sent out via email every other day for the next 7 days. After that, invites will come in the form of text messages. The invite will come from Apptegy and the chance to adjust the password for Edurooms. The Rooms feature will allow teachers, students and parents / guardians to communicate. PowerSchool is also accessible in the Elk City Schools App. The new Elk City Schools App lets you keep up with everything about Elk City Schools in one place.

The Rooms feature for the new Elk City Public Schools App is not yet active. The changes have been submitted and the feature is coming soon. The Rooms feature will allow teachers, parents and students to communicate through the new Elk City Schools App.

On behalf of the Elk City Board of Education and Elk City Public Schools Staff, I would like to welcome you to the start of the new school year.
It is truly an honor to be a part of such a special community. Students will be riding on new school buses for daily commutes and activities, thanks to the generous support of the community. Elk City Students and Teachers, once again, achieved double digit gains in student performance during the past school year. Significant academic growth has been achieved two years in a row! I am excited about the direction and future of Elk City Public Schools.

Elk City Sports Medicine Concussion Testing - August 3rd and 4th - 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. - Pioneer Gym / Basketball Court If you have an athlete in grades 7th-12th participating in a contact sport for the 2023-2024 season they HAVE TO UPDATE AND GET A NEW CONCUSSION TEST Ex., Football, Cheerleading, Baseball, Softball, Basketball, Wrestling, Soccer Bring Your Own Device (phone) Every athlete is tested every year until they graduate. STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY A CONTACT SPORT WITHOUT A CONCUSSION TEST.
