Parents we are excited about our Brown and White awards and promotion ceremonies tomorrow. We would like to give you some information about Brown and White.
7th Grade Students
Will arrive at school at the normal time and go to their regular classes. At 9:30 am we will take the 7th grade students over to the Susan Powell and get them seated. At 9:40 am doors will open to parents and guardians to allow them time to find a seat. Our 7th grade Brown and White awards will start at 10:00 am and should conclude around 11:00 am. Upon completion of 7th grade awards students will be released immediately to their parents. Parents will need to sign them out at the Susan Powell building.
8th Grade Students
Will arrive at 12:30 in the north gym parking lot. We will take the 8th grade students to the Susan Powell auditorium and seat them. At 1:00 pm doors will open to parents and guardians to allow them time to find a seat for the promotion ceremony. Upon completion of 8th grade promotion students will be released immediately to their parents.

Important info on the upcoming MS Brown & White Awards and 8th grade promotion
Today our 8th graders are coming home with yellow enrollment forms. They need to be signed by a guardian and brought back to their ELA teacher no later than this Friday.
7th graders need to bring their pink enrollment papers signed by a parent/guardian TOMORROW!

Homecoming Spirit Week
Elk City Public Schools would like to address a social media post currently going around making untrue claims about curriculum that will be utilized by Elk City Public Schools for the upcoming school year. The curriculum being shared is not the curriculum adapted for Oklahoma. Nor, is it the curriculum we will be using with our students.
Testing Information
Hope everyone is staying safe and warm. If you are not, please be aware that First Baptist Church is opening up their gym and showers Tuesday through Friday for homeless and no heat citizens. They are also offering hot meals for people in need this week. Attached you will see information from their Facebook page.
Parents of Middle School Athletes. Your student athlete signed up for their spring sport today. Please talk to them about their choice, what equipment they will need and where they will need to be picked up from starting Monday. Have a great weekend!
