This Friday night, Oct. 25th is Senior night for Football, Cheer and Cross Country before our football game vs Weatherford. All family members that are involved in the Senior night festivities please be on the Southwest end of the track by Big Elk helmet run thru at 6:10 pm to get lined up. We will start Senior night festivities at 6:20 pm. Also, we will honor our Elk City High School band Seniors at halftime. Thank you for your cooperation.

Congratulations to our Elk City High School softball team, Regional Champions !!! This coming Thursday, Oct. 10th and Friday, Oct. 11th they will be competing in a 4-A Super Regional at North Rock Creek High School in Shawnee. Game times Thursday will be Noon and 2:00 pm, and the if game on Friday at 11:00 am. Tickets can be purchased online at OSSAA Gofan, and there will be a cash ticket option at the game. Elk City Public Schools is committed to Always Growing and providing additional opportunities for our students.
For some time now, Elk City High School Students have been able to earn college credits through Southwestern Oklahoma State University, while completing their high school years. However, the SWOSU Courses were offered through online instructors. Students and parents felt as though they were missing out on the final years of high school. While the college credits earned were great for our students, too often, the online courses kept our students from participating in daily Elk City High School life. In order to integrate the opportunity to earn college credits while in high school, and still be an active participant at ECHS, Elk City Public Schools made a financial commitment to provide a college classroom for students on our campus. The opportunity to earn college credits taught in person by SWOSU Instructors, utilizing EC classrooms, has led to an increase in the number of students earning college credits. Elk City High School is second only to Yukon High School pertaining to the number of students enrolled in the SWOSU Concurrent Program.

In an effort to keep our students safe and to keep this an enjoyable experience for all of our patrons and guests, we are asking for your help.
We ask that all students remain in the stands during the game. Students are not permitted to play on the track, on the north end of the stadium, around the field house, or behind the stands. Also, please help us keep the walkway at the bottom of the stands clear by not standing along the railing.
Thank you for helping us keep Big Elk Stadium safe and fun for all!
