Attention EC Athletic parents & EC student athletes: Tomorrow morning from 9 am till noon we will do SWAY concussion testing in the HS Pioneer Center gym. All incoming 7th, 9th and 11th grade student athletes that play a contact sport will need to be tested. Plus, any new student athletes to our school district. Please remember to bring a cell phone device for testing purposes. Thanks for your cooperation.

Congratulations to Superintendent Mike Sparks for being selected as the District 12 Oklahoma Association of School Administrators Superintendent of the Year. If you've met Mr. Sparks, you know he is for what is best for kids and continual growth. Our school and community are fortunate to have him at the helm of Elk City Schools. We would like to introduce our new head girls basketball coach here at Elk City, Mason Jones. Coach Jones comes to us by way of Panhandle, Texas. She is a graduate of SWOSU in Weatherford. This Wednesday, May 21st she will meet with all of our incoming 7-12th basketball girl's in Pioneer Center Gym at 5:00 pm. After that we will have a 7-12th parents / EC Basketball Booster Club meeting in the ECHS commons at 6:00 pm. Let's give a big Elk City welcome to Coach Jones !!!

A new state of the art surface has been installed in the weight room at Big Elk Stadium. During the summer months, the weight room is utilized by over 300 students in grades 3-12 daily. The new flooring provides a better training facility in addition to creating a more sanitary surface for our students. FOR the Brown & White

Elk City Athletic Physicals will be next Monday evening, May 12th from 6-8 pm at Elk City High School Pioneer Center downstairs. Cost will be $ 20 per student athlete. This will be for Elk City student athletes going into the 7th grade thru 12th grade for the next school year. New OSSAA physicals forms can be picked up at EC Intermediate, EC Middle School and EC High School from this Wednesday on. Thanks for your cooperation.

This Friday & Saturday, May 9th-10th we will be hosting a Super Baseball Regional. Elk City vs Verdigris, Friday games will be at 1:00 & 3:30 pm. If game on Saturday at 1:00 pm. Please remember you can purchase your tickets online at OSSAA Gofan $7.00, or at the gate for $10. Thanks for your cooperation, and Go Big Elks !!!
