Online Enrollment Instructions

 Elk City Public Schools is pleased to provide online enrollment for all students.
The online student Enrollment Forms provide a faster and more convenient way for parents to pre-register their child.

 *For parents without access to a computer or unable to access the internet please schedule an appointment to meet with the
District Registrar, Bobbi Embery, by calling 580-225-0175.

24-25 Enrollment for RETURNING Elementary & Intermediate School Students

Parents/Guardians of Elementary & Intermediate School students must review, update and submit the online Enrollment Forms
by clicking on the *RETURNING STUDENT* link above prior to Open House/Meet the Teacher on Monday, August 12th, 2024.

*If you have forgotten your PowerSchool Parent Account Username and/or Password email registrar@elkcityschools.com for assistance. 

Parents/Guardians will receive a call from their student's teacher the first week of August prior to Open House/Meet the Teacher.

24-25 Enrollment Confirmation Dates for RETURNING Middle School & High School Students

Parents/Guardians of Middle & High School students must review, update and submit the online Enrollment Forms
by clicking on the *RETURNING STUDENT* link above 
PRIOR TO ATTENDING ENROLLMENT CONFIRMATION!

Students will receive their chromebooks, schedules, and lockers at Enrollment Confirmation.

24-25 Open Enrollment Dates for all NEW STUDENTS & FORMER STUDENTS

Monday, August 5th, 2024 - 8:30am-3:00pm - ELEMENTARY; Kindergarten - 3rd grades

Tuesday, August 6th, 2024 - 8:30am-3:00pm - INTERMEDIATE; 4th-6th grades

Thursday, August 8th, 2024 - 8:30am-3:00pm - MIDDLE SCHOOL; 7th-8th grades

Friday, August 9th, 2024 - 8:30am-3:00pm - HIGH SCHOOL; 9th-12th grades

School Enrollment Information

A parent/guardian MUST PROVIDE all of the following:

     - student's Birth Certificate, issued by the state

     - student's current Immunization Record, or a completed and signed exemption form

     - parent/guardian Proof of Residency, see below

     - student's CDIB card, if applicable

     - any legal/court documents relating to the child and/or custody, if applicable

Proof of Residency

A Proof of Residency must be in the parent/guardian's name and can be any of the following:

     - Rental/Lease Agreement

     - Mortgage Statement
dated within the past 60 days

     - Notarized Letter of Residence (used if you don't have a lease or live with friends/relatives) from the homeowner;
must include names of all persons living in the household AND provide a utility bill in the homeowners name.

     - Utility Bill - electric, water, gas
dated within the past 60 days - cut-off/disconnection notices, bank statements, credit card bills, and unopened envelopes are not acceptable.

District Transfer Information

Open Transfer applications for the 24-25 school year will begin June 1, 2024.

*If the student has ever attended a public school in the State of Oklahoma you will be required to provide your child's 10-digit State Testing Number,
which can be obtained from your child's school and starts with 1-0-0.

PowerSchool

PowerSchool is Elk City Public Schools Student-Information-System. Parents/Guardians must have a PowerSchool account to complete the Enrollment Forms at the beginning of each school year for their student(s). Enrollment Forms contain critical information for students in a convenient place. Parents/Guardians with students in grades 4th-12th have instant access to their child's gradebook and attendance, making your involvement in your student's success easier.
