The Junior High School is considered to have a "closed campus."  Basically, this means that at no time, under any circumstances, is a student to leave campus without the permission of their parents and the school.  There must be communication between the parents and the school before the student is allowed to check out during school hours.  Students who are off campus during school hours without following the appropriate checkout procedure will be considered truant.
